Cooking in Russia

Pasta night. A little bit less sophisticated than I’m used to, but grocery stores are woefully bare in this country. Water, tomato paste, and “Italyanskoy” seasoning. I shrewdly bought spiral pasta over spaghetti because there’s no colander in the kitchen and I’ll be pouring this with the lid on (and no insulated handles on the pot so pray that I still have fingerprints when this is over).
